Dog Days — May 2021

Growing up, I was always out of the house...

Parties,

Shows, gigs,

Impulse plane tickets,

And long road trips... whatever the season allowed.

When the world stopped last year, moving around wasn't fun anymore.

I realized I needed to stay still... but how?

No matter what hobby I tried...

Everything was a loud reminder of how everything outside was very not okay.

Then, one day, the cold blanket came.

And the snow days silenced and calmed me.

And everything made sense to be closed.

And as I watched it fall I thought about

What the world would look like

When it's gone

And spring brings life back.
